Despite Dodge's history of modifying its color codes in the 1970s, the infamous "FM3" code, which was
exclusively available for the 1970 model year and was referred to as Moulin Rouge for Plymouth and Panther
Pink for Dodge, was never reintroduced. Pantherpink.com reports that a few unusual 1971 model year cars were
equipped with the FM3 code paint, despite the fact that these are exceedingly rare early-build cars. Dodge did
reinstate a comparable color in 2010 with the limited edition 'Furious Fuchsia' paint option for the SRT8 and
R/T Challenger. However, this Demon 170, at least in its Hemi V8-powered configuration, is purportedly a precise paint match to the original FM3 code and a fitting tribute to the Challenger's origins and conclusion.
