The year 2024 represents the beginning of a new era for muscle automobiles. Unfortunately, Ford is the only

brand left holding the V8 muscle car torch, after Chevrolet and Dodge both discontinued production of their

long-running V8 coupes at the end of last year. The thunderous V8 engine that has distinguished so many of the

most iconic American performance automobiles over the years is gradually being phased away, with an all-

electric future likely to replace it. Fans of Chevy and Mopar may continue to fight to see who can go the fastest

down the quarter mile, even if they will most likely have to resort to the Blue Oval in the future to satisfy their eight-cylinder needs.
